The concept behind Accents was to showcase the latest in handmade jewelry at comfortable prices along with one-of-a-kind custom work. Thanks to the support of this independent business from the community and beyond, Steven has done just that for the past 20 years. Featuring over 40 lines of jewelry, Accents has something for everyone. Customers have a vast assortment to choose from, be it a necklace cut-to-order, or over 30 artist designed lines, both local and world renowned. Some of the designers featured are Amery Carrière Designs, Hilary Druxman, Heather Benjamin, Heather B. Moore, Kamofie, Saundra Messinger, Wasabi, Calico Juno, Tracy Mathews, Kathy Bransfield and Ileava. Accents houses incredible handcrafted designs in sterling silver, 14-18k gold, and platinum upon request. Some of the showcased designers have come from Steven’s class in the lost wax jewelry making technique, taught at the store each Tuesday night since 1991. Accents is well known for Steven Hanna’s custom designs. For those considering a walk down the aisle, Steven has established himself as the designer for wedding and engagement rings that are as distinctive as the couples who wear them. Steven has recently teamed up with fellow designer and gem expert, Johanna Torell. From reworking an existing heirloom or starting from scratch, whether you choose a traditional diamond setting or prefer a more alternative style, their combined expertise means anything's possible.
